endurance; intermediate trail run, Engineer Mtn
Been off for a week due to business trip to Vegas & injured foot.
Ran Engineer Mtn trail up to the meadow, then hiked up to the chimney and came back down. Time 1 hour 3 minutes to the chimney. 1790' climb per the Suunto, high point approx 12300'.

climb; "Lotta Balls Wall", Red Rocks
Climbed the 3 (long) pitch "Lotta Balls Wall" (5.6, 5.8, 5.5) in Red Rocks with Kurt and Rolfe. The name is for the rock formation, not the difficulty level. Very hot weather (~100 degrees). Fun, but my foot was messed up afterwards from standing in rock shoes for 4 hours.

50 x KB clean & jerk @ 36 (25 each arm)

Time 18:45. Will have to substitute something for the floor wipers; too hard to do them without getting excessively dirty. Maybe seated Russian twists.
Knee sore from BJJ on Tuesday.
Evening: no-gi BJJ at DMA.

SAR mission
No real training this weekend due to SAR mission lasting Saturday night into late Sunday morning.

endurance--short road run; sparring
At lunch: CR314, 5.5 miles. Time 50:29. Fartlek style. Avg HR 153, max 174, 24:50 over 155.
Evening: sparring class. My first time doing real sparring in many years. Not bad. The guys at DMA like to hit a little harder than I would like; took a pretty solid liver shot at the end.

endurance; long hike/run
Dutch/Jones loop with Kim. ~20 miles, ~3500 feet climb. Time 5:42, including a lot of breaks to wait up for Kim (her first time at >15 miles). Felt strong. Lots of wildflowers in the high meadows. Met an ultrarunner at the end who had just done it in 3:21!
